Canada
Canada has been on my mind the last 5 or so years since I lived in Boise and it's not a long drive for me. I considered many options, but what I chose was to go see Banff, Kootenay, and Jasper national parks in one go. I crossed into northern Idaho and was stunned at how beautiful Canada was. I remember seeing the Canadian Rockies for the first time and kept pulling over to take pictures, not knowing what I was about to witness in the parks ahead. I was in no way prepared for the views to come.
The 2nd morning when I finally entered Kootenay park and made the first pass, I was struck by a line of Mountains like none that I had ever seen before. They seemed to never end from left to right and seemed to scrape the sky, and this scene never ended as I continued on. Banff is filled with one of a kind views that I will never forget as well as Jasper park. All in all, it was a shorter trip, only lasting 3 days, but I saw so much and gained memories that I will remember forever. From the turquoise blue water from the glaciers to the sky scraping mountains that command respect, I will have to go back there one day to relive that experience.
