Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park

In the past, this park has been mainly a drive-thru for me going into Yellowstone. I usually stop and take in the mountain views and see what wildlife I can spot as I drive, but this time I really wanted to explore the park in its entirety. The plan was to stay 4 nights in the park and see everything that I could and it did not disappoint. There are national forests that surround the park if you are looking for free camping or a break from the crowds where you can still see wildlife. The Snake river flows through the park, which is dammed in spots to create the lakes and other water features. The park offers unparalleled hiking options around and through its iconic mountain range.

My time spent there on this last trip was well worth it and this park has definitely moved up to my top 10 favorite parks. I definitely recommend doing a night drive around the park to see all of the night life and take in this park from a different perspective.
